Our Scuba Dive Livaboard boat is a 24M ex Royal Navy fleet tender. In 2000 she was sold by the Navy and was used as a family home in Rochester in the UK until we purchased her in January 2010. Embarr operates aong the South Coast of Ireland taking divers to all of Irelands best Scuba Diveing sites. We will provide you with bed and breakfast and lunch on board. Each evening we will go into harbour where you can go ashore for dinner and check out the fun that Cork and Kerry are famous for.
We tailor all our dive trips to your requirements, depending on the length of your stay and the type of diving you prefer. If wreck diving is what your into, then we can take you to wrecks like the Folio off Youghal in Co. Cork, the wrecks of Cork Harbour, and those off the Galley Head. Dive the U260, a German WW2 Sub and the Kowloon Bridge the largest ship wreck in Western Europe and by tonnage the largest in the world.
We have amazing scenic diving all along the south coast of Ireland, from the Ling Rocks near Kinsale to the 78 rock near Glandor, and the Fastnet all along the Cork coast before rounding the Mizen and heading to Kerry and the super sites of St Finian's Bay, the Skelligs, Dingle and the Blaskets. We have sheer walls and wonderful reefs covered in life and colour and home to a wide variety of marine life.
Embarr has four Twin Cabins and one four berth cabin for guests. She has three bathrooms, a comfortable lounge and a well equiped galley. Hot drinks are available at all times. Embarr has a wet room where divers kit up and its just a short step over the side of the boat to the water. Nitrox up to 30% is available on board.
